League of Legends!

League of Legends is developed by Riot Games and as won multiple prizes such as the PCGamer game of the year (2010) award! It is an online strategy game that can be played in 3v3 (Twisted Treeline) or 5v5 (Summoners Rift). The objective of the game is to destroy the Nexus (PowerPlant if you will, which spawns all the enemy minions and such), but before that you will have to destroy all the turrets around the Nexus and if you want the inhibitors (which would make you spawn Super Minions). There are more than 20 characters that you can play, you can also buy skins for the characters (That you have permanently bought from "The Shop"). Each "Champion" has 4 special moves and 1 of them being the Ultimate (Which is usually the most powerful move of that characters).Every champion can get to level 18 being the maximum level and at anytime of the game go back to your spawn and access the shop in which you can buy certain items that boost certain skills. Some being:
  • Lifesteal (If your lifesteal is 10% and you hit a 100 you will get 10HP back)
  • Attack Damage (You start with 50 attack damage and you buy something that gives you 12 attack damage so then after you get that item you have 62 attack damage)
  • Defence (Same as above)
  • Mana Regen (Mana regens faster)
  • And lots more!
When picking your champion at the pre-game lobby you can also get 2 other Summoner spells (Which have cooldowns ranges from 120 - 200+). Some being:
  • Ghost - Run faster
  • Heal - Heals
  • Flash - Teleports ou
  • Clarity Gain mana
  • Ignite - Shoot fire
There are player made champion tiers (1,2,3), here is a link to it:

So, do you play League of Legends? And which character do you think is the best you've ever played?

MineCraft

Minecraft is a singleplayer or multiplayer game. Minecraft is a sandbox building game which you can do a multiple amounts of things that I will list later on. It was developed by Markus Persson, also known as "Notch". You can play it at 4 different levels of difficulty; Peaceful (No monster, health regen), Easy (Monsters, no health regen), Normal (Stronger Monsters, no health regen), and Hard (Extremely strong monsters, no health regen).

List of things you can do (Not all):
  • Mine Rocks
  • Explore
  • Make a house
  • Make armour, a pickaxe, a hatchet, a hoe, a sword.
  • Build a underground farm.
  • Make a boat! (Go Sailing)
  • Meet with friends on Multiplayer servers!
  • Kill monsters
  • Make a farm!

 Sales:
On January 12, 2011, Minecraft had more than 3,770,000 registered users, and over 1,160,000 purchases.
Purchases are $20.00 USD so that would equal 23,200,000 Dollars, thats right 23.2 Million Dollars.

To play head over to Minecraft.net and either buy the Beta Version now or play the Free Classic Version (Which is still pretty fun).

A Minecraft world is randomly generated, there are deserts, snowfields, grassy plains, mountainous and lots more terrain to play on! I personally prefer hilly not mountainous with trees on it, to make wooden houses, etc. There is also a day-night cycle (I use pumpkins and torches to light up my house).

Well that's all for now,

So, do you play Minecraft? And what do you do?
